GREENVILLE, N.C. - In an ongoing effort to enhance the modern-day donor experience, the East Carolina University (ECU) Pirate Club has opened a new interactive communication channel. Zipwhip, a company that allows direct text landline phone numbers, will give Pirate Nation the option to directly text the main Pirate Club office phone number.
"We are fully committed to Pirate Nation to provide the best donor experience and with Zipwhip we are offering another opportunity to communicate in a quick and efficient manner," Pirate Club Executive Director and ECU Athletics Senior Associate Athletics Director
Phillip Wood. "We know our donors have busy lives and do not always have time to pick up the phone to call, so we are excited donors can now text our office."
The Pirate Club is committed to improving daily communications with donors and prospective donors regarding annual contributions, priority season ticket and parking inquiries, special events and customer service. Donors and fans can engage by texting the main Pirate Club office phone number (252) 737-4540. Upon receipt a staff member will respond and begin communication for the inquiry.
Examples for using the app are:
When is the 2019 priority donation and season ticket order deadline?
Could you tell me if I have renewed my Pirate Club membership for this year?
I recently mailed in my membership renewal. Have you received it yet?
Could you tell me what my current rank is?
I have not received my membership packet and car decals. Could you resend it?
I just moved. Could you update my address?
What is the cost for club seats in the Southside Tower?
When will the online season ticket and parking selection process begin?
Pirate Club members are encouraged to try this new platform by texting #AllHandsOnDeck to (252) 737-4540. Those who do by April 19, will be entered into a drawing for four (4) tickets to the ECU home baseball game versus UNCW on Tuesday, April 23.
